User-selected root

Drive alpha requires the user to select or create a Drive root before import, source-pointer creation, or app-created test-file operations.

LifeOS must not broad-scan Drive. The selected root bounds Drive alpha activity.

Repair state

Missing, moved, renamed, or revoked roots place the connection into reconnect or repair state rather than silently recreating data.
